Don't know what the hell is going on but now PM says Online co op will be ready for the launch of Fable II

Not possible, the game already went gold. There would have to be a patch, so it wouldn't be ready until at least a few minutes after the release.

I don't care anymore. I just want the game the 21st so I can finally play it. I just think things will get crazy with rumours, and confusion. I'm confused enough.

Well, they had "Rock Band 2" stuff out before the game. So it could actually be out before the game actually is. =P

I bet he really said that he was going to have the patch ready for the release, but the genius journalists twisted his words again. Those people are obviously trying to over dramatize the situation by pitting what they consider to be Microsoft's word against Lionhead's word, even though Lionhead officially confirmed today that they're making a patch.

Telling the devs what they can and can't do? Ballsy... +rep! Goretex is probably right, though. The patch'll most likely be available the night of release.

No, I mean that the fix cannot happen until a few minutes after fable 2 releases, because they already made the discs, so the fix must be attained via live. Therefore, there will be a time when people have the game, but would be unable to play co-op.

But then the time it took to get the game to the xbox would be time you were technically unable to play co-op on live.
