Corrupt savegames

I need some help. I`ve got 2 courrupt savegames so far, and i dont know why. My xbox has no harddrive though because i baught the arcade-version without the harddrive. So its using is internal flashmemory. Please help, i want to play this game without losing savegames. Yes, i bought the game used btw, but is there a connection between the CD and the savegames? The CD isnt so scratched so i wonder why. Please help :(

Re: Corrupt savegames

if the game plays ok...it probably isn't damaged. if you think it could be from scratches...use this guide.

A number of common household products can be used to polish the CD, but toothpaste — especially baking soda toothpaste — and Brasso are probably the most tried and true. You can also use a fine-grit polishing compound that's used for cars or hard finishes.

Apply a small amount of toothpaste (must be paste, not gel) or Brasso to a soft, clean, lint-free (old undershirt) cloth: an eyeglass-cleaning cloth works well.
Gently rub the cloth on the scratch or scuff in a radial motion, (start at the center and rub out to the edge, like spokes on a wheel). Do this 10 or 12 times all around the CD. Rubbing in a circular motion can cause small scratches that throw off the laser tracking system in the player. Try to focus your efforts solely on the scratch or scratches you’ve identified (if possible).

Polish in this manner for a couple of minutes, reapplying Brasso or toothpaste to the cloth as necessary. Be careful not to apply much pressure, although you will still be able to feel the cloth gently scratching the CD as it polishes.
Remove polishing product from disc. If you used toothpaste, rinse the disc thoroughly with warm water and let dry. Do not dry with towel, clothe, or sun. Make sure to remove all of the toothpaste and let the disc dry completely before trying to play it. With Brasso, wipe off excess product and let the rest dry. Then, using a clean cloth, gently wipe disc again.

it could also be you're memory. recently microsoft sent out an update that made the xbox not recognize storage devices by other companies. it may be a glitch. your xbox has internal memory...it must still be under warranty. so if the first option doesn't work you can always call

Re: Corrupt savegames

If your disk is damaged, use a product called "Scratch Out!". When my Xbox was damaging my disks, I used this stuff on every one of them, and they were completely fixed. This stuff really works.

I also tried toothpaste on these disks before I heard about Scratch Out and it didn't work.
