Couch Co-Op?

Peter Molyneux said that Fable 2 will be "Couch Co-Op".What does that mean?

Couch Co-op is when you and one of your friends play on one single xbox... its like splitscreen except this time it isnt splitscreen

Its your friend who has their own different xbox account on your xbox.... might be on there own xbox too not quite sure

Thats what puzzled me too, unless you have to save it to a memory card or something.

he could mean by 2 linked xbox's, not sure though, it would seem a bit awkward having it on one xbox coz not everyone has memory cards not with the HDD feature anyways lol

Yeah thats the thing, not everyone has a Memory Card/ Hard Drive or Xbox Live so between those 3 thats quite the mix of things.

i think it would be easier to link xbox's in a way, i mean, the camera system will be a whole lot easier with link up, if you have ever played co-op on lego start wars you will know what i mean lol, the amount of times ive been stuck when my bro has travelled a bit ahead lol. plus what about exploring inside house and stuff, when peter molyneuax (dunno how its spelt sorry) talks about the combat in the house he wont say anything about it so i dunno if its gonna be bad or good lol but yeah anyways i would find it easier with link but have the same console co-op for back up when my m8 isnt here and its just me and me bro lol. sorry for the essay btw got a bit carried away

Unlike Crackdown which needs xbox live.... and several other games

There are gamertags, yes? Halo3 lets player 2 use his/her gamertag as long as its on the same data (block?).

I also believe Xbox Live Co-Op had been confirmed from somewhere, cant find the link But anyways, PM did say that was 50% of Co-op The other 40% may be online Co-op and the 10% PvP as in Player Versus Player

Where did it say this info? He said 70 percent of people played Good in Fable of the remaining 30 percent 10 percent played Evil

This was in another interview; he stated it was only 50% of the Co-op.

So the multiplayer isnt over Xbox Live? How hard would it be to create individual servers for each player? Like independent world so you can join over live? JUst kind of behind the times with Lan and Xbox.

The one we are speaking about here isnt over Live, Peter hasnt spoken about all the options yet though. There will more than likely be an Xbox Live co-op he just hasnt officially spoken about it yet.

Its been done before, this type of co-op, The legend of mana look up its 2 player system and you'll see.
