Not too much in there i didnt already know, it was a crappy soldering job and cheap heatsinks that caused the bulk of the issues. +rep anyway

Yes, but it can lead to lawsuits against Microsoft, since everybody wants to sue someone nowdays

Anyone who wanted to sue Microsoft for the RROD probably has already tried as its not a new problem.

I'm skeptical about this "unknown source" could be another Sony plant.
What amazes me is that they continue to sell well despite all the issues. Imagine if they didn't have these problems.

What I really like about Microsoft, is the fact that they learn from there mistakes, if you look at the Xbox compared to the 360

Mine did that once and it scared the sheeziz out of me cause I have a first gen 360. Yes I stood in line at Walmart for 6 hours to get one of those the day of release. Which is odd because I hate microsoft and most of their products, and had allways been a Sony user cameras, computers, tvs everything incudling the PS1, The Smaller version of the PS1 and the First Gen PS2. But I started playing an XboX one day and realised how nice it was to have a hardrive in your system.

It was because the damn thing wasn't plugged into the TV!!!!

No it gives a 3/4 ring like I have seen in all the pictures.
