Countdown to Fable III

63 days left until Fable III hits stores.

So, are you getting it then? Later? When? What else are you getting (bonus material)? What do you think of it? Do you think it looks good so far? Discuss.

Personally, I think the game got an overhaul - on the 'cool' scale. It looks like a modified Fable II, which was good also. I got a B-Day on Nov. 15, which is also when I get money. However, since I am growing up to be a late teenager, I think I should spend my money elsewhere than games.

However I WILL get the free down loadable part of the game (like, 1/5 of it?). And then I MIGHT get it on Christmas. I think Fable III will be *Awesome*.

You guys and your extra content.

From what I know, I'm just getting the normal version on the release date (assuming they get the right number of games), but apparently that comes with the villager maker thing and Reaver's sword too.

I think Fable III will either be very good or very mediocre. In other words, I will end the game saying "That was great" or "That was nothing new". We will see. To be honest, I'd rather think it's terrible than just have it be okay. At least if it's really bad I'll know that there wasn't a shot at the game being great.

Thats true, and then if it turns out awesome you'll be like wow so worth it. But that kinda has a negative to it seeing it'll be a bit regretful to not get other stuff...

what i think is that its not going to be a dissapointment like the others were because of PMs Boulevard of Broken dreams (and promises) but maybe im wrong. What hes saying in the game isn;t over the top for the technology we have now like the things he wanted in Fable 1, or even 2 when the xbxo first came out

It's weird.

Everyone says Fable II was such a huge disappointment, failure, etc. Then what is wrong with me?

I think Fable II is a great game! I STILL play it on accounts that's been beat for a while now, and I love replaying it, having a cool experience each time. Why am I the only one who feels so?

Not to mention all the people who STILL play it regardless.

Fable II WAS a great game, and by far in my top 5.

I re-play it a bunch as well. I thoroughly enjoy the fable franchise despite the fact that PM says their will be certain content and isn't. I don't think this is a let down it just couldn't be done for one reason or another. I can't wait for fable 3. I pre-ordered the special edition and will be getting it the day it comes out.

i doubt there will be a midnite release so whenever gamestop opens the day of ill get it. no frills for me tho just the reg game
im just not letting myself get to hyped i never did with fable 2 either and loved the game, i just know that PM overpromises sometimes so i alwasy just go in expecting a mediocre game and hopefully get surprised, a wise man said 'set the bar low that way your never disapointed'

Does anyone know if they are gonna do a world wide release?
Like they did with Halo 3 - that was freaking AWESOME!

I didn't have to sit and stare at those jerks on my friends list who actually got the game 3 days before I did! ^_^

Maybe Halo Reach will have a world wide realease, being the LAST halo game EVER (yeah right..)

LOL. any other day i'd say i'm such an idiot. Just had a week long LE preorder binge - ordered limited editions of fable 3, halo reach, and the spec. edition of assassins creed brotherhood. i WILL regret it some time soon, but right now you could kick me in the balls and i wouldn't notice (why, i dont know, maybe someone's spiked my drink...)

My grandfather works two jobs and he's the only one with a car and since the game comes out on Tuesday... there's no way I'd be able to get it. However, once I sell my PSP, Wii, PS2 and all that jazz, I should have plenty enough to afford to pre-order the Limited Edition copy of Fable III.

I'd love to get the book and the controller but... that's just too much money for one game. I mean, I'd buy the controller regardless of the in-game bonus item just because of the sweet golden design but that's another $50 and I'm trying to save up for a PS3, heh.
