Crashing Issues
Hello,
I recently just bought Fable: The Lost Chapters for the PC yesterday night. I installed it, and began to play through the beginning area. Everything was running fine. I had all of the graphics set to default during the profile creation.
I got to the guild, and just as they were going to go to the ceremony for you to become a hero, the game crashed. Now of course this was just before the Auto-Save. I thought nothing of it really. So I started it back up.
A message popped up saying the game exited incorrectly, and asked me if I wanted to start the game in safe-mode. So I selected it, and then nothing happened. So I clicked on it again and it asked me once more, so this time I didn't check it and it ran. As I tried to Continue the game back in the guild on my profile, the loading screen got to about half way then crashed. This happened several times, so I decided to restart my computer.
This did not help the issue either.
My computer specifications are:
AMD Athlonx64 Dual-Core 2.0Ghz
2GB Ram
512MB Video Card
Over 100GB of Free space.
I've read that Windows Blinds can effect this, though I do not have it nor have I ever installed it on this PC.
Now I'm not at home right now, so I will not be able to try anything, but I'd like to get some feedback before hand cause I'd like to start playing it once I get home.
-EDIT- I'd also like to note I'm running off Windows XP Professional with SP3 and it's not 64-bit.
~Thanks
