cullis gate problem

After escaping from Jack of Blades' prison with Scarlet Robe and returning to the Heroes' Guild, I found that the cullis gates are deactivated. How do I turn them back on?

Where are you? I just ran around to differen't area's until the gates started working again. I think there's a thread about this some wheree

If you mean the Ancient Cullis Gate in Darkwood then when you enter the area, Scarlet Robe will tell you, “The gate will only open when its hunger for undead souls has been sated.” You approach the cullis gate, skeletons will start spawning next to it. After you have killed enough of them , the gate will activate and you’ll automatically use it and appear at Hook Coast.
