Cult of the Scared Moon.
I could see them coming from miles away, two large SUV type cars tearing down the small country road, i flayed my arms around in an attempt to flag them over it worked. The black tinted window slowly lowered revealing a young looking women with what appeared to be her boy freind sitting next to her in the driving seet, her hair was blonde and she had the brightest blue eyes you have ever seen i was almost blind."hey do you know the way to camp halowits?" I asked in my shrill voice.
"Why yes, as it happens were going by that way, would you like a lift?"
I hesitataded "well if it's not too much trouble?".
"Sure it isn't right jonny" she looked over to her boyfreind
"huh, oh yeah sure" he replied in a dull voice. I opened the door and climbed into the SUV and was rushed with the stink of leather, i sat down and fastened my seatbelt. The seats were all a dark brown leather, the windows were tinted black and the dashboard was a manure colour.
"So why're you heading up to camp halowits? Is the camp up and running again?" asked the boyfriend.
"eerm yeah we got some money and decided to re-open it. Why is there some-thing i should be aware of?" i asked with a slight anger in my voice.
"Well i probably shouldn't mention it, don't wanna frighten the little city boy."
"No please go on."
"Well a couple of years ago there was one night, the moon was full and the sky was cloudless after that night no news or conunication came from the camp, when a team of investigators went to check it, the entire camp had been destroyed and alll the campers and councillers were ripped to shreds. But im sure nothing like that will happen to you guys." He said with a laugh.
"Johnny why do you have to be such a jerk." Said his girlfreind,
"Hey it's no problem, infact i quite like abit of mystery and horror." I proclaimed even though i was slightly scared.
"That accent i just realied, your from england right?"
"yeah thats right, London, you get many british people out here?" I asked will little intrest.
"No your probably the first in a long time. Well were here camp halowits, well enjoy your stay."
I climb out of the car thanked them for the lift and they went on there way, i assumed i was alittle early because of the lack of cars so i reached into my coat pocket and pulled out a cigarette case, i opened it up and took at the middle one and placed it in my mouth. I reached into my other coat pocket for my lighter, i lit my cig and took a long drag and blew the smoke up into the air "Not gonna be able to do this in a long time." I thouht to myself, i headed down the muddy road which appeared to lead to the camp, there was nothing but forest surounding me on all fronts, if i were the kindof man who worries about things i would be needing a change of pants about now, fortunatly i'm not, i continued forth and came to a clearing, "This must be the camp" I thought to myself as i made my way to one of the cabins, i headed for the biggest assuming it was for the councillers, as i got closer i began to understand why i was sold it do cheaply, most of the windows were broken and the whole place looked like it had been made by a child of five with come glue and ice lolly sticks. I sighed and walked to the door, I took one last drag from my cig and dropped it to the floor, putting it out with my shoe.
