depends on attack speed preference...
personally i prefer the cutlass because a faster attack speed tends to mean i take fewer hits, but on the other side a hammer can guarentee you an instant kill if it is amped properly.

your call, i restate that it's completely opinion.

I dont weild a cutlass, i prefer tha other one, err, Katana is it? And axe over hammers...

If you have 5 star slow time use it with the master hammer. use 5 star slow time, flourish a guard or bandit and flourish them again while they are flying off!

cutlass does more damage and has the awesome hand guard/disarming grip

I prefer light weapons since you attack a lot faster.

On my current character I prefer heavy weapons since I use guns. When I break out my meele weapon I wanna hit hard and heavy XD

no it's a thread on which is better the Cutlass or the hammer but then i said neither the Katana kicks ass!
then u said something then i said: which is better the Daichi,Hammerthyst or Wreckager which are the legendaries of a Katana,Hammer and Cutlass.

my bad i thought i was reading another thread O.o
yes the strongest weapon is the daichi
i was referring to non-legendary weapons (personally i think the wrechager sucks lol)
are we cool? :)

idk... a 4 augment katana w/ knothole glade augments (dont know the names) is almost as good and the daichi... but the daichi pwns.

Personally, I'm an axe and hammer fan. I just like the way they look on my characters. I like to use will and a pistol most of the time though.
