Darkwood Lake Oddities

To start, if this is posted elsewhere, please direct and disregard... I tried searching for it but found nothing related...

I've a couple of questions about the Darkwood Lake region. In the original version of Fable, there was a path just past the silver key chest blocked by a rather large boulder. Was there any way of getting past that boulder, and if so, what's behind it? Or was this just another 'We'll get back to that later' dead enders seen so often in that version?

The other thing, which I noticed in TLC (but don't recall having seen it in the original), was a shrine / grave / memorial sort of thing off on the far right of the map (when entering the region from the Darkwood Marsh direction). This shrine / memorial thing has the chest piece of a suit of armor sort of floating above it, but does not appear to be interactive in any way.

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this and could shed some light on what these items are and how they may / may not relate to the story? Or perhaps I'm just looking at things a tad too closely?

Thanks, you're all the peaches! :D

Re: Darkwood Lake Oddities

I am not sure but I think that the second thing you are describing is a area you have to go to

with Briar Rose cause Minions are trying to summon something and you have to kill them

but hey i could be wrong.

In the original Fable, yes there is a big rock blocking the way, No there's no way to get behind it. (unless you mod) I have a couple of pictures of me behind it. Perhaps in the thread http://forums.projectego.net/freeroam-screenshots-2082/?highlight=free+roam You can see it.
But in Fable: TLC the bordello takes the place of this rock. Bordello

This "Shrine" comes into play later when you do a mission with Briar Rose.

the "suit of armor" is a summoner, an enemy you need to stop from entering the Dark woods. You encounter them in Snow spire later on.

 :ninja: :D

Re: Darkwood Lake Oddities

Eh Hem. Yes you can get past this rock without modding :) i have found a way round the rock but... there is nothing behind it except water its a deadend route. I cba to post pictures of this but i can do even better i can tell you how to do it :D. Ok first find the rock its in darkwood lake... next move up to were there is an open chest its raised up from the actual "lake" and is near one of the entraces to this area. Ok now get to the right hand corner of this raised area (next to the chest) and face away from the wall. Pull out your spade and keep digging until you glitch out of the wall now your stuck on a cliff if you keep digging you'll reach the water at the bottom (behind the rock). when you reach the water the only way to move around is to roll and VERY quickly dig. I will post pictures if you dont believe me.

One mystery solved :D
