Dead Bodies

I was wondering when or if the bodies disappear or if they dont ? because i shot my ex wife in the head and now her body is at the bottom of my bed and it really doesnt look to nice =/ and its been there for ages now so do the bodies ever disappear or do you have to get rid of them or do they stay ?

they go away if u go to another town for a while, hope this helps...lol

the corpse has gone I went to Bloodstone and came back and it had vanished thanks for the help ^^

One time, I shot my wife, then went to sleep. When I went back to the body, her skin was greenish-brown and there were flies around her! The game actually incorporates rotting!

if i knew they rotted i wouldve kept her there just to see how long it took until she was a big pile of mush XD
