Decisions, Decisions...

Lately I have become nocturnal, for those who dont know, that means I sleep during the day and spend practically all night awake. Anyway, down to my point...

Tonight I need something to do, something to do meaning either- play Dead Rising or else the very original Fable for Xbox since my TLC is for PC and the installation discs are in my flat at Uni. 6000SUX I know.

What I want people to do is just to weigh up the odds for me- good points about either game versus other good points. I'm not asking which is best- I don't want arguments- if you like either of the games fire up why you like them.

Also- if anybody fancies a race to the finish of the original Fable (all night playing) starting later tonight/early hours of the morning let me know.

Wewt.

NOW POST DAMN YOU!!
O.o

Re: Decisions, Decisions...

I'll make a suggestion as soon as you spell "w00t" correctly.

Re: Decisions, Decisions...

Well call me old-fashioned, but I'm going to stick with "w00t".

Re: Decisions, Decisions...

Hoot?

Re: Decisions, Decisions...

stop spaming damnit!!!

the good points of fable are that you can do anything you want in that game and the good points of Dead Rising are that you can kill massive amounts of zombies when you're bored and can kill them with anything, and also there is a kinda cool leveling up system, even though it is quite random, and yes i know i'm a little late, but still...

Im sure I'll have many more sleepless nights ahead of me lol.

Fable has that really mellow groovy music as well which is pretty sweet. I actually ended up playing infinity mode on Dead Rising last night but got bored of it after like an hour. Think for an all nighter Fable could be a good bet.
:ninja:

Re: Decisions, Decisions...

I like the music in Fable, but sometime it has the same effect on me as does the music in ES: Oblivion, it puts me to sleep so fast I end up walking halfway around the world with a horde of monsters at my back. Let me tell you, I get wierd dreams involving strange things becuase I keep hearing the grunting sounds of monsters in the background.

Lmao, I fell asleep playing Warcraft once or twice and actually ended up dreaming about it. Was very weird. I like putting on the OST for Fable when Im gonna crash out though- some of it is very soothing.

I dont actually have Oblivion, it never really caught my interest to be honest. Its first person isnt it?

Re: Decisions, Decisions...

It is designed for first person, but you can also put it into 3rd person view via the right analog button, though it still moves like a FPV which gets slightly irritating.

I had the one before it for the Xbox, damned if I remember what its called but it irritated me. Seems like the kind of game that would maybe play better on a PC for some reason. If its tailored to play in FPV then if I was going to play it I would have to play it in first person.

realy i no you're better off without the game- seriously look what happened to me when I played it.

ROFL. You know for a moment there I thought you were going to promote the game like a rabid fanboy *roflcopter*

Re: Decisions, Decisions...

Actually, Elder Scrolls is designed for computer controls. The games on the 360 and PS3 are ports. The game before Oblivion was Morrowind, taking place in the region of Vvardefell which is the homeland of the dunmer.

All hail the knowledgable one :D

It had a cool map in the box O.o

Didnt they release an expansion for Oblivion a while back? If I thought my laptop would run it I may be tempted to pick up a copy- maybe even get a second hand one for the 360 for those long dull summer nights lol.

Re: Decisions, Decisions...

To release my inner knowledge! There have been, in some sense, two expansions just as there were in Morrowind. The first is the Knights of the Nine expansion, which allowed you to join the Knights of the Nine, a sort of good alternative to the Dark Brotherhood. The next is the Shivering Isles expansion which takes you to the Oblivion realm of the daedric prince Sheogorath.

Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. GI JOE!
