Deffinate Improvements.

I hope that Fable 2 has a longer story line. The first game was expanded in TLC but it still felt too imminent, there was no mystery for the most part you pretty much knew who the villain was. Don't read me wrong I love this game its one of my favorites I just hope the second title is longer to say the least. Also I hope that there are more hidden features I for one love to be well into a game and then read that theres this egg thats out there, or theres this weapon that makes you faster or whatever it may be. I know that Fable 2 will be stunning visually as well as be a thrill to play. But it just seemed in the first game that I wanted more, I wanted more armor, more swords more enemies I wanted it to be an MMO, I wanted expanse so i hope that the next game has some amazing features. And online play would be awesome. Anyone else have any suggestions?

I wanted it to be an MMO,
it's of coarse just my opinion but i don't think it should be an mmo at all.
1. there's only one race, seein the same people over and over except with different armor would get old.
2. i don't have online, til i go to somewhere i can get high speed. :(:realmad:
3. i just think fable should stick to being an rpg, mmo's=no single campaign/ in this case quests
But i do agree it should be much longer and more expansive!!! more sidequets, magic, and pretty much EVERYTHING in my wish list and ideas that mike posted :D

Re: Deffinate Improvements.

Depends it could either suck balls or be the best game ever depending on how they do it...

As sabre said it would get VERY old seeing the same race over and over again with alot of people with the same kind of hero, but if they changed it so that theres a Hair editor, a BUNCH more armor/weapons, different faces etc... then it would be okay.

Also, it would take alot away from the single player (quests) expierience, they would have to make it where you can either do single player or Multi.

what do you think?

Re: Deffinate Improvements.

Guild Wars was an MMO and it had a pretty well done main quest/storyline

Re: Deffinate Improvements.

I don't know... I have played GW and I seemed to get off on other stuff and really never got into the story =/.

But thats just me...

Re: Deffinate Improvements.

ya i agree with you about the whole storyline but haveing it online would take away part of the fun

Re: Deffinate Improvements.

Some people see that differently, some think that MMO adds alot of fun...

Thats why I said put both..

Re: Deffinate Improvements.

ya but if u put both it takes away of finding stuff by yourself not a friend doing it for u

Re: Deffinate Improvements.

Which is your choice, you dont have to have a friend telling you if you don't want...

Re: Deffinate Improvements.

MMO-HELL NO!
people play console games and xbox live to avoid the @$$holes you run into in MMOs.
BUT...i think you should be able to play games with 1-2 other people. just for like one mission or have you both loaded onto one Albion. THAT would be fun. Just if you happen to have a friend and you two feel like killing a dragon fairly early on in the game, invite two friends into your albion server and go do it. if you've finished the game and want to do one of three ridiculously challenging quests for highly leveled heroes, you should be able to. As much as i dislike WoW, i have to admit that they have a very good system as far as party dungeon exploring goes. That sort of thing would be ok. But things like online arenas, minigames, and MMO-type play shouldn't be any closer to fable than the dead kennedys to mozart.

Re: Deffinate Improvements.

Didnt read all of what you said but I agree with what I did read in the fact that there are tons of *** holes in MMO's and another thing they could do is make it where you could have 1-10 people in the game, you dont have to stick together or anything if you meat somewhere you can interact or if you want just bring them along on missions or something.

Re: Deffinate Improvements.

Well I didnt mean Fable should be an "as is" mmo. I meant In an mmo the expanse of available weapons and armor is larger. I meant Fable 2 should expand over small servers and meeting an online player should be a seldom occurence. Wouldnt it be cool to play through the game thinking you may just find someone on your travels? I think it would be pimp.

Re: Deffinate Improvements.

Having a few people n the same server wouldn't work because the world is supposed to change around ur actions, it would be difficult to do if they are going to make it even slightly like the B&W2 world that changes depending on your alignment. Although it would be fun toduel another player or trade or let the dogs play :), or if ur evil you could steal one of their items then run like hell to try and get away...getting chased through albion by another player just sounds fun to for some reason

Re: Deffinate Improvements.

free play in albion should be for 1-3 players only. But i think you should be able to go on crazy hard missions with other people who are really high level. also, the arena might be fun if it's two on two...

Re: Deffinate Improvements.

Yeah, Like some missions are reserved for co-op play because they are just too hard.

Re: Deffinate Improvements.

It'd be awsome though if up to 4 people could join into a game at a time, BUT NO MORE!!! keep it simple like halo 3, you wouldn't want some areas just ridiculously crowded. And the leader would definately need to have the boot ability. just in case u ever rum into any *$$holes online, which ur bound to do.
