Delete

How do I delete a saved game? I've looked for a while, and can't find it. It sucks, because I have the glitch where I'm stuck as a child in 2/5 of my games.


Offtopic: Also, I have a glitch in a quest (The Archaeologist) where even after I 'examine' (flip) the page she gives me, it still never clears that from my to do list. So I cannot progress further in this quest.
A similar thing happens with Till Death Do Us Part -- I just can't talk to him to finish the quest.

From what i know, you can't delete a saved game. You can go to your control panel and delete the saved game file but that will wipe out all your characters.

ps: The Archaeologist, you can't go to menu and examine the page. It won't do anything. You need to press down on your d-pad for look at it there. Furthermore, by setting this as your active quest, you'll get a breadcrumb trail to the next location, which your dog will pick up the trail after you get there.

being a kid the whole game sounds cool. And it really does suck you can't delete. Even though there is no point. They prolly thought "o, this game makes it east for a person to change." so there really is no reason to delete unless they were all bugged.

Also, I have pushed down on the D-Pad -- Still no luck. I guess my two quests are bugged, which is a huge pain in the ass

By being a kid for the whole game, I mean I did every quest up until the Love Letter Delivery Quest, and now it won't let me speak to Monty. I have done it on other characters, so I know I'm doing it right. It's glitched.

Have you tried just starting a new game and seeing if it asks you to overwrite one of the others? I haven't tried this, but I always figured that would be the obvious way.

As for the Archeologist, I never got a breadcrumb trail until I was in the region with the artifact. I always just figured out it's location from the hint and went there... at which point your dog should take over automatically regardless of what your active quest is.

I'm confused on where you're stuck in Till Death Do Us Part.. elaborate?

FiliusMartis, when you create a new character, you can't overwrite the old one. Your game will have 6 slots. I'm not sure if you already have 6 characters, will it overwrite one of them or not. As Aldoria has mentioned, he already have 5 characters. I would suggest that he delete his save game file from his hard disk if his 5 characters are not too far into the game. Of course, he can create 2 more characters and see if it overwrites.
