Demon Door lied to me

The demon door outside Oakfield told me that if I moved my familly to that house they would stay happy forever, I moved them and left to do some quests and jobs, I came back later and my wife ran away saying she would divorce me.

What the ?

Lolololololoolololo. Happy Face. Dude, I've never had this happen to me, I think it's only because I either Married Alex from the Ghost Quest or Lady Grey and for some reason they ALWAYS love you. Hmm.. I'll have to try this and see if it does it to me too. Sucks though, I hope she comes back to you man. :P

you killed her? That's even funnier. xD You were probably like "Divorce me, is that right? Not on my watch!" *Deathly sounds coming from the Demon Door*

She ran for the demon door, I popped the safty off and aimed for her head.

The cottage made my family happy but it didn't make me happy. I wound up sacrificing my wife to the shadows, moving to Bowerstone, and marrying Alex. All in a days work.

Alex is the woman featured in "Til Death Do Us Part." A quest in which you must either break the heart of a young woman for a ghost, or find love with her my making her fall in love with you. I chose love, mainly because I couldn't find any other blonds. =P

Alex is only around if you play a male hero.

I found out why my wife left me, the Demon door house doesn't keep your family happy, it only makes the satisfied with the house so you won't have to worry about decorations and such.

This actually happened to me on my first save, the first time I went in there.

I too came back, after the Spire, sold stuff, came back, my kid had no emotion, and my wife was saying
"Why are you leaving us?!".
