Demon's Souls' spiritual sequel, Dark Souls, will be released on Xbox 360 as well as PS3, it's been confirmed. The original Demon Souls was a Sony fan favourite and very difficult and it seems that after a 360 fan favourite in Mass Effect 2 went multi-format its now Microsoft who prosper with a deal going the other way. Famitsu say Dark Souls overseas release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is being handled by Namco Bandai. However much like FFXIII Japan will only see a PS3 version of the game with no 360 version set for release in that territory. It is also said to have a higher difficulty than the original which could be interesting...
