Before you start reading this "emo poem" that I wrote. Don't tell me how Oh how much emo sucks and ohh how you hate emos and how much you hate me for being emo even though we never met. Just leave this thread and save ure time.

If you are open minded and can accept people for who they are, Then I welcome you. =]

Depression.

I am depression
You know me for destroying people's lives
My mother is the drugs you take to ease your pain
My father is the pain you feel everyday
I was born in your thoughts, that can't be erased
I live in your memories, that last forever
My best friend is death
Because we work as one, we live to make you grieve
My enemy is life
Because I long to bring you pain
I fear for the worst
Because it is not the terms I wish for
I love to make you sad
Because that is how I am
I dream to make you miserable

I accept everyone for who they are. However, many people who claim to be "emo" don't accept themselves for who they truly are and merely act miserable and dress like they do for attention. Just remember to accept yourself for who YOU truly are whether it be emo or not. Finding yourself can take a lifetime.

That's exactly it, I am who I am. It's just people keep stereotyping me as "emo" since I dress like one becuase I like to and I listein to the music becuase I like it and so on. But really I'm just being who I am and stereotypes couldn't change me. =]
