Bethesda have released the latest trailer for Arkane Studios upcoming Stealth/Action title Dishonored showing just a few of the ways you can eliminate opponents in the game and the variety of choices...

"Creative kills" ?

Smells like Bulletstorm. :pirate:

 same line used but more calculated variation rather than creating the most mess and explosions.

I mean stopping time, possessing someone and moving them in the way of their own/an allies bullet cant help but be impressive. Or using rats as escape pods by possessing them (can also possess fish and gain access to buildings). Possess people and move them to ledges and then warp out and knock them off the ledge. Lots of ways to kill people and im going to enjoy finding new variations outside of the possession technique. Lots more shown off in other videos too.

How about...

I thought the graphics were decent, like a mix of Bioshock and Half Life 2 art style. That combined with gameplay which is like a mix of Skyrim/Bioshock style duel weilding with some Mirrors Edge type moves/animations thrown in. More interested in the actual gameplay mechanics rather than how it looks however.

I'm actually really looking forward to this game. Yes it isn't the most original and it borrows from some other games but it has a great concept, and if it's executed right could be a cracking game. From the gameplay that i have seen since announcement it seems to have lots and lots of variation in terms of enemy disposal. Not only that but the stealth aspect of the game looks fine tuned, as does the enemy AI.

Some very positive previews were put online yesterday and they were all singing its praises which is looking good. They also said it blends the best bits of Thief and Hitman with a Bioshock style and were all excited by it. I shall post some when I can get to my computer (at work).

Awesome, anything that is like Thief is bound to be good.

I never played the Thief series but ive only heard good things about it, so to be compared with it sounds good.

Here is one of said previews...

Dishonored Hands On - A masquerade becomes a bloodbath - PC Gamer

PC Gamer said:
It was one of the best missions I’ve played in any game. It combined the sophisticated murder-planning I love in Hitman with the old-school stealth of Thief, and the unpredictable, systems-driven combat of BioShock. Going back and exploring all the paths I didn’t take, the city blocks of explorable space I missed, gave me a taste of its extraordinary scope.
