Divorced for no reason?

I know that some people said they got divorced for no reason after the first spire quest, but I figured that might be due to time elapsed from the quest or something..well I haven't even done that yet right? I go into the families part of the start menu and it says the family is happy, upkeep is happy, etc etc I warp there and the ho divorces me and takes my kid. I didn't even get the satisfaction of blasting her. This happened to anyone else? Makes me wanna go on a shooting rampage but I'm trying not to lol

Nope didnt happen to me, as soon as i came home my 2 wives wanted some actiong, and my kid was bugging me a lot tho.

Just have lots of wives and kids and when one divorces you just see it as less upkeep and one less annoying brat to maintain. :lol:

I really don't think I will get married ever. I am playing a girl, but I can't stand most the men, and the ladies are driving me crazy. Half of Bowerstone seems like drunks, and I tried to get a temple guy interested, but he yelled at my dog.:realmad:

Yeah happend to me when i brought hannah back got outside and wifey said "you've ruined the best years of my life im divorcing you." I ran after her using expressions but she just kept on walkin to bowerstone. (It was sheila the stylist btw :O)

lol I wound up marrying a gypsy last night, had a baby girl then went to the spire, which was AWESOME btw! Came back and was soooo happy to see fall time...and my baby girl was grown up and loves me

Considering I took my Flintlock to my first wife, and then my Crossbow to my second, I haven't really attempted going for the whole marriage thing in Fable 2 again, the families just annoyed the living hell out of me, if it wasn't the constant messages flashing up, telling me they wanted sex, it was always them draining money I couldn't afford.

Although I think I'll experiment on this with my next character, where I intend to make forgiveness a stronger point, this interests me...Maybe it IS just due to the whole 10 years passing thing, or maybe it's a glitch, who knows.

lol I definitely agree the families can get a little annoying...like, in another thread this guy said that if you sleep for like 100 days straight, you know, the season will change. I tried it (didn't work, btw - maybe later in the story? I still don't get the seasons...) and EVERY TIME I finished sleeping (max is 7 days so it takes several times, you know), my wife had a gift for me. Cool enough but it got old after the 6th time or so LOL

i think she divorces you because you dont give her any action before you do the spire quest.

but you guys got it easy. i waas happy with my wife and child. then i give my wife a different, more expensive ring, take her to a new home for us to relocate and then we get married.....again...then that guy D sends me a letter of blackmail threatening to tell my "spouses" about my infidelity. WTF! im married to 1 person, but it says i have to families. naturally i kill the messenger, and a few days later, my wife is gone, and the kid. tsk...stupid D

I LOVE THIS GAME BEYOOOOOND WORDS MY FRIENDS, AND HERE'S WHY! (note this is a replica of my post in the glitches/bugs thread but it equally applies to this thread so...have at it!_

Ok I haven't experienced very many glitches and what few I have don't matter. But I just experienced the funniest, FUNNIEST glitch I ever thought possible. So I was chilling with my wife and kid, then I warp from oak field to brightwood to buy the farm. My wife came with me, right? When I bought the farm I decided to move the wife into the farm right? LOL...achievement pops up: THE BIGAMIST! ROFL! Somehow I remarried my WIFE, SAME WIFE, ONLY WIFE!...and she now exists in both homes! ROFL! My kid is only back in oak field...I'm laughing so frickin' hard right now

Update: I decided to kill my family and move into thag's shack. Shot my wife, tried to kill the daughter but apparently she's immortal and she proceeded to tell me how great I am and how much stuff she has. :lol:

Yeah, yesterday that happened to me. My characters husband left her. And went to rookridge of all places.
Maybe some Bandits killed him.
Oh well.
