DLC Glitches resolved - can anyone confirm?

I've been reading in numerous places that the Understone and Traitors Keep DLC DOES NOT cause the game ending glitches if you install both DLC's BEFORE you start your character and save game file.

Can anyone actually confirm this that has had success? I really don't want to start over for a third time now!
