Do you know who wrote Overlord?????

I suddenly want to get it. I would say Heavenly Sword, too, but isn't that PS3?

According to Wikipedia, Pratchett wrote its script/dialogue/etc!

Okay, fine, it's Rihanna Pratchett, but apparently she's Terry Pratchett's kid. And sure, that has no meaning. None at all. Really. It still inspires my interest. [hypocrisy]

Especially since I already wanted the game. Some.

Re: Do you know who wrote Overlord?????

Yep, Rhianna, daughter of Terry Pratchett, did write it.

It's fun - and the humour is right up my street. There's nothing quite like extending your arm across the land and watching hordes of your minions running off to destroy everything, steal women to serve you and drink all the beer, get drunk and then urinate in the street...

For some this is a regular night out :D

I guess knowing Drakan in real life has that effect on people.

Well i wont argue with that...

Re: Do you know who wrote Overlord?????

Drakan? But I thought that the women were Tsuyu's department and the alcohol Drakan's, a team effort?

So now I need to find a copy cheap.

Re: Do you know who wrote Overlord?????

I'm sure you'll find plenty of cheap copies of Overlord on eBay or the Amazon marketplace. Sharon brought her copy from eBay for £12, I think it was.

No credit card, and I don't like using my mom's and no chance of my brother's, so I need to wait till I see it at EB or Gamestop. Which are the same thing, really.

An excellent description of the game
I thought the game was wichked fun. It's an easy game to pick up and play. Don't expect deep plot or story though. Has anyone tried the Raising Hell expansion pack?

Re: Do you know who wrote Overlord?????

Not yet - I'm still working through the main story and, as per usual, getting stuck every now and again. Haven't played it in a while though but want to get back into it :D

Re: Do you know who wrote Overlord?????

Makes me want to play it some more. I never quite got all the pieces of the castle.

Re: Do you know who wrote Overlord?????

To revive a dead topic-- I got the game a couple weeks ago, really enjoyed it for awhile, then stalled out fighting Kahn's evil floating teleporter minions of death.

Because the only Minions I could get to attack them were the green, and I kept placing them, killing one, and then the artillery fire teleporter would kill my greens while I tried to fight off the attacking ninja thingies.

But it was really cool, funny, and entertaining. I especially liked the first Mellow Hills level.

It's like $20 here at Walmart.
