Does the patch work?

I heard that the patch broke the game. Is it working yet?
I searched, but I couldn't sort through every thread with the word co-op

no the patch did not break the game and yes co-op does work

I've heard many accounts the patch has caused RRoD's on many previously stable systems out of nowhere and caused Fable alone to be unplayable. Dunno if they've fixed it yet.

For now i havent patched my game with the co-op to avoid any potential issues. Until ive researched it more or Lionhead have issued a statement on the matter i wont patch just to be on the safe side.

I wouldnt have thought that a patch would cause the RROD (which is usually down to hardware failure and overheating). Usually made up accounts by fanboys and any excuse to scream RROD problems. Maybe it happened to a couple coincidently at the same time but i doubt the patch was the cause of it.

I agree with you oh fearless admin, won't patch up or connect to live whilst playing fable2 untill some confirmation that issue (if there is one at all) has been fixed.
