dog doesn't find artifact

i'm in westcliff at the docks but my dog sits next to me, instead off pointing me out were to dig up the artifact.

in my screen you can read follow your dog.....but he doesnt move....

please help me.

try reloading the town or digging it up yourself. You can access your spade (shovel) from the items menu and use it.

the 4th time i was on the docks, my dog found it....

thanks, didn't know you could dig up things without your dog.
