donating to the light??

I've already donated to the light. I donated 10,000 gold. got the weapon that is apparently worse then the weapon I was already using... but it's still my primary quest? It still wants me to donate more. Why? Am I missing something?

You can get bonus XP if you donate 100,000 gold, and you get good points every time you donate. That is why the quest won't end, because you can, theoretically, get infinite rewards from it.

not for me, everytime i donate money it only gives me 75 good points but when i donate money to random people (lets say about 10000000$) you get over 100000 good points o and yes it should end with all that and stuff.

Yes, for you. It's the same for everyone. You can continue to donate for as long as you want and keep getting the rewards, that's why the quest never goes away. It's the same with the Sacrificing to the Shadows quest.
