Dont forget Westcliff!

incase some of you did not know, if you speak to barnum and give him 5000 gold before you leave for your journey to the spire, he will take your money and invest it into turning westcliff camp foundation into a town, where stores and shops are able to be purchased

Re: Dont forget Westcliff!

Yeah it's pretty good.

I now actually own all of Westcliff.

Re: Dont forget Westcliff!

I was pretty pleased with the return on my investment - and the fact that I not only own it all but also cause all the little children to run screaming from me coz I killed someone for moaning about the rent being so high

Re: Dont forget Westcliff!

I am planning on owning all of it eventually. I already own that one house by the shooting range.
I heard that can become either king or queen if you own enough realistate.
Anyone know how much you need to own?

Re: Dont forget Westcliff!

its the 2.5 million in real estate plus owning fairfax castle i think

In my towns, I play so good, and lower all the rents. I own all of Bloodstone, and the mansion, and everyone is like," We're not worthy." :D And I am not pleasing everyone it seems. There are thugs, who hate me.^_^

Re: Dont forget Westcliff!

Yeah I own basically all of Bowestone (minus Fairfax), Oakfield, Westcliff and Bloodstone (minus the Mansion) and I haven't recieved any special titles.

I get a lot of help from my friends, financially, so I can buy as much as I do. That and transferring gold from one game, to another helps, too. Along with some weapons.^_^

Re: Dont forget Westcliff!

i finally made a good character to see why people like good so much.

to be honest i was laughing at how retarded the game is going good, the game takes longer, i have to be extremely careful to not press the B button when im cancelling expressions, and when im digging/finding treasure in the towns all the townspeople trap me in the corner or alley way, they just follow u around the whole game, and is damn annoying.

in the end i ended up going evil again because i couldnt stand the towns people and i just had to kill them

LOL, I understand the npc's can be annoying. They do drive me nuts. I have to just push my way through, and then thumbs up.:P
I have visited a couple of my friends games, where they play evil, and I get a little scared myself. One of them had their safety off, and I kept my distance. :ninja:

Re: Dont forget Westcliff!

If the people just get in my way I just kill them

I owned the everything in Gypsy Camp, Bowerstone Market, Old Bowerstone, Oakfield, Giles Farm, Brightwood Tower, Westcliff and Bloodstone (minus the Mansion), and still fell short of the 2.5mil. You Must own Fairfax to reach it. then you can be named king, queen or mayor.

Re: Dont forget Westcliff!

I really liked the Westcliff Camp, I just wish it had at least one buyable house so I could marry there :(
I developed it in my last playthrough, sdhould I do it again? I guess I have Bloodstoen for evil npcs but I dunno...

Re: Dont forget Westcliff!

Yeah, I helped Barnum with the investment, and watched it grow. Then I bought everything.:D
I was shocked to see what happened to Barnum, later in Bloodstone.:(

Buy up what you can in every place you can find and then upgrade the furnishings in a few of the properties. I upgraded about four Bowerstone Old Town houses, making their value about 22,000 gold from being just 4,000 before the new decor. Put up a couple of trophies too (seeing as I don't need the renown or anything now) and the value of the properties shot up.

Just owning all the properties is not necessarily enough to get the achievements - but getting better furniture seems to do the trick.
