Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD coming

After numerous new titles in the DBZ franchise coming out and all of them averaging less than Budokai 3 it seems Namco Bandai have decided to jump on the HD remake bandwagon too. They have just announced that a Budokai HD pack (containing Dragon Ball Z: Budokai and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3) will be released this winter (no mention of Budokai 2) for 360 and PS3. ​

If it was Budokai Tenkaichi instead of Budokai, then I'd get it, but I just don't really like 2D fighting games aside from Super Smash bros. I definitely think I'd have a hard time playing it after so much Raging Blast.

I always thought the Budokai series felt the more complete, deeper experience. Though the freedom of the Tenkaichi series was great they always felt watered down. Budokai 3 was my favourite DBZ game by far.

Gotta agree with Necro on this one, as much as I loved the original Budokai games, Tenkaichi was perfect for realizing your favorite battles with gameplay that closely mimicked the show. Lots of freedom. I still say Tenkaichi 2 & 3 were the perfect foundations for the future before they took it into a different direction, so hoping they do a remaster for that series and not just Budokai, miss playing it.
