No, it is in fact the tongue, Have you ever Been licked by a Cat before? its like sandpaper, Everyone knows Moist Sandpaper Has Lazorous properties.... Duh!

It does man, it does. This phenomenon occurs when you make a cat chase a laser pointer, and he catches it. The sandpaper like material catches and harnesses this power, and uses it later for his/her use. True facts man.

lol seriously (erm did i spell it right?) sand paper tounges collect mass quantities of like and create an amethyst like glow and when exposed they can be quite hazardous so get the muzzle.....
