Easter eggs

I will be making a list of easter eggs and references in the game. If anyone can point one out to me, please post it.
I will update the blog, BTW, I just had to finish my school work (four tests in one week)
SPOLER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!

References
Just a flesh wound is a line said in both games. It was taken from Monty Python, a famous british comedy team.
The sister is named Rose, after an NPC from fable I.
The music box plays the original fable theme
The kids in the gypsy camp talk about jack of blades.
The halo armor is described as from another world
The actor that plays the trader with the music box was the trader that sold the chocolates in the original fable.
The bandits mention boosting from time to time "I want the final blow"
The lion head symbol in the opening of the game is holding a microphone for a few frames. Bungie made a similar symbol for the voice settings in Halo 3
The description for some items mention gangrene
The gypsy appeared in the fable II trailer
There is a room that is made of fable I environments. The room even has a sign that reads Oakvale
The NPCs will comment on the size of albion being 10 times bigger
The achievement "Black Knight" is a reference to Monty python
Albion is another name for Britain
The game mentions highwaymen
The chest with the Halo armor appears to have the 7nth column
Amethyst is described as very cheap compared to the old days. It was the most expensive gem in Fable I
There is a character named Leo Head
The game Hat, Headband and mustache is a reference to the traders from fable I. The traders always had a hat, a headband or a mustache. The game mentions that the traders invented it.
There are rumors that the hero of Fable I killed the guildmaster and left the note "Your health is low.".

Re: Easter eggs

also, sandgoose has a pub named after it, a drink NAD its grave is in the oakfield cemetery.

Re: Easter eggs

Dean and Simon (two of the production crew that look coincidently alike) are in the story as Sam and Max (brothers)

Re: Easter eggs

One of the achievements, The Black Knight is also a Monty Python reference. To get it you have to shoot off each of a Hollow Man's hands and then it's head much like the black knight in Quest for the Holy Grail. It's the same black knight that "Just a flesh wound" is referencing.

Re: Easter eggs

You might want to put *SPOILERS* because those are some pretty decent ones there.

Re: Easter eggs

Thanks for the help.
I also noticed that SPOILER one of the demon doors leads to a room that is made of many different places from fable I.
Also, the Gypsy is named Theresa, the same as your sister in fable I.

Re: Easter eggs

Many of the new quests were spin offs of fable original. SPOILER Ex: The boy getting lost in a cave and his grandmother sends you to look for him.

Re: Easter eggs

There is one particular easter egg i saw it's in

Oakvale Ruins

and the grave says "here lies, Rosie a teddy bear"

Re: Easter eggs

iv heard an NPC say "is being an adventurer really as easy as it sounds? iv heard that an entire lifetime can pass within just a couple of hours! sounds horrible to me."

also, heard a kid say "my health is low, do i have any potions?"

Re: Easter eggs

also, the island where you go on treasure island of doom is called lions' head

Re: Easter eggs

I don't want to be 'that guy' but I'm not sure you understand the concept of an easter egg

Re: Easter eggs

there is also a character called OLD GREGG, from youtube, and the tv show THE MIGHTY BOOSH

Re: Easter eggs

cool i need to check out my hal's and find the 7th column

Re: Easter eggs

im not sure if this is a spoiler but a kid said "What level hero are you"

Re: Easter eggs

You can probably find about 20 easter eggs just in item descriptions alone (Eg: An apple's description reads, "This apple contains a solitary worm, its not a feature, its a bug")

And Lucien in Fable 1 becomes the White Balverine, I think

And don't forget the Normanomicon (Actually called the Necronomicon) and (I think its a reference to the Evil Dead series with Bruce Campbell, or the Necronomicon actually exists, I have no idea)

Re: Easter eggs

Theresa is the same person from Fable I. She mentions that when you first head into Wraithmarsh and she talks about Oakvale. It's not just the same name, it's the same person.

There is a house in Bowerstone Old Town called the Dark Mark... ha like Harry Potter..... get it?

Re: Easter eggs

You know how the loading screen has cool little facts and quotes?

Well, I always read those and one time it said something like:

"Shortly after the fall of Jack of Blades, the Guildmaster of the Ancient Kingdom was found dead, the words, "Your Health is low" were carved into his forehead.

Not an Egg, just was funny.
