Easy Money

Is there any way of getting money other than doing jobs or renting houses out? (which is what I need money for)

Could buy a bit of property and just abuse the hell out of the money glitch if you really need it that much.

Other than that, it's all down to working, selling items and such, or buy a house or two and really knock up the rent.

Going through the crucible can get you quite a bit of cash, you might waste the same amount of time if you to just get a 5star job, but it'll be more entertaining

The Bounty Hunting, Civilian Displacement, and (I assume) the Assassination jobs get you the largest amount of cash out of all of the jobs, in quests the Crucible can earn you a lot of cash, and I think you can revisit it as well. And you can earn a lot from the final quest, depending on your choice
