ESRB Bans Two Trailers Of Dark Sector From Net

The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has told D3, publisher of Dark Sector that they must have two of their trailers pulled from certain websites. D3 had this to say about the ruling:

We recently received a ruling from the ESRB stating that the two officially released Dark Sector gameplay montages have been deemed to contain excessive or offensive content; and to this end are not to be available for download or viewing, regardless of being placed behind an age gate.

"In order to comply with this ruling, the ESRB has requested that the two Dark Sector gameplay montages be pulled immediately upon receipt of this notice and no longer made available for view by consumers.

Hopefully this time the BBFC (UK) wont do the same and do it to our sites also.

It most likely has more to do with politicians and politics in the US than the ESRB WANTING to do this.

Yea, what people need to understand is that most kids who commit violent crimes don't do so because of movies or video games.

They will never understand that and just seem to want to push the blame onto games more and more because they are an easy target.

It's so much easier to blame it on games, instead of accepting the fact that it is the world that is fudged up.

Ive heard that so much over the last few days, also with the BBFC in there of course :lol:
