Well I can blag free accommodation for myself about 30 miles away at my sister's house and take the train in which should take about half an hour...I've just got to decide whether to go for it or not. Steve's not interested but my brother in law would be I expect, if my sister lets him go, that is.

Eight quid a ticket is not unreasonable, I don't think - I've been to expos before which are twice that amount and then some...

Thats really cheap, i mean cinema tickets are more than that half the time.

And the more you get, the cheaper it is. I reckon in a couple of years the price is bound to go up so perhaps it's worth going whilst it's not too expensive?

BUMP because I R Teh Adminz and because it's going to happen VERY SOON.

All tickets for Saturday are sold out now (my brother in law waited until yesterday to buy one and of course is now not going) - question is, are any of you from here going to be there?

Steve and I will be - along with Dragon Age 2, Gears of War 3, Fallout New Vegas, FABLE 3 :w00t: and loads of other games. Peter Molyneux will be there on Friday so we'll miss out on that one but we're hoping to get some photos/videos (depending on what is allowed) of Fable 3 stuff to plaster all over our boards when we get back.

Will any of you guys be joining us?

What day are you going? I could only do the sunday tbh as I have Uni on Fridays Is that when you're planning to go? If that's the case then I might very well join you guys Shame Peter is only in on Friday but I being able to try Fable 3, Gears 3, DA 2, etc is very tempting !

UPDATE:

So on impulse I just bought myself a ticket to see the Expo on Sunday the 3rd ! I also bought my bro a ticket cos I'm nice like that Hopefully See you and Steve there

RUBBISH! We're going on the Saturday - it's the only feasible time with school and stuff for the kids. We're having to spend the weekend near London so Saturday was the only full day we could take advantage.

Yeah, we got our ticket back in...June, I think. Something really stupidly early like that :lol:

For the longest time they weren't sure they'd be able to get Fable 3 and I was beginning to think nothing decent would be showing (for me, anyway) and then in the last couple of weeks they've announced all these awesome games I can't wait to see, even if I don't get to play them.

If you're taking the train, the Underground is going to be mashed up by engineering works - they recommend getting off at West Brompton rather than using the District line. We've got to re-plan our trip because of that - we'd take the car, but there's not enough seats for all of us.

Wow that's some extreme pre-booking :lol: I'm gonna take pictures while I'm there if I can and maybe a few videos aswell. I will post them all here when I get back.

Hopefully I can divulge some new info on Fable 3 and have a go of the demo myself :w00t: It's gonna be awesome epicsauce ! . . . I really wanted to go on Saturday aswell :'(

Well I've wrangled a press pass so we should be able to access a little bit more info on the Fable 3 front with any luck - whatever we get, we can perhaps pool our information and whack it on the front page?

They are allowing photos etc but some developers are going to be saying no, so I'm hoping the press pass will avoid all that nonsense and let us get away with it if Microsoft slap a no photography sticker on everything.

All we need now are some rather tacky ProjectEgo t-shirts to wear whilst we're there :lol:

Can you make me a t-shirt aswell? I'll act like a reporter for ProjectEgo and have an image of my Reporter, Kermit the Frog, on the t-shirt aswell ! It's so ridiculous it might just work ! lmao I'm all for the tackiness

How did you manage to get a press pass? If I have to upgrade the ticket for a few quid I might as well give it a go :lol:
