As an amateur game maker myself (they're 2D), I can say it's overwhelming even when I DO know what I'm doing. These guys could probably be physicists. The math is about as difficult.:wacko:moonfever;208721 said:Wow, I read enough. I can't even grasp the concept of building a game like Fable 2. They are mind boggling in their knowledge of building games. They kinda made their own engine to make this game. :O From the ground up.
I thought the hands and feet looked smaller, and they said they made them smaller, this time. The best read on the building of a game. Thanks Zamamee, for posting this. It answered so many questions, I had on building a game.
And they don't talk about the dog. +rep4u
Essentially, every object has about 200 questions attached (if object a hits object b then c, etc.) and then you insert maps. Glitches happen when the answers to these questions interfere with each other.moonfever;208744 said:Rolandk73, I thought so. I've often wondered how people make games. I always want to know what makes things work, and why. It's seems interesting to me. I agree, I bet it's overwhelming. It probably takes many years of studying, a few different things. Design, filming, computer programming, and others I don't know.
