Expansion map glitch

Could anyone please help me in figuring out why after purchasing the knothole expansion and the see into the future expasion explain why they are not showing for my main character but when i created and new hero both the expansions appeared on the map

yes i have re-downloaded the maps several times but to no avail could someone please help me as i just cant bare doing the expansions on a new weaker hero

Where are you in the game? I mean what quest are you doing right now on your old hero?

i have finished the main story line and have finished most of th quests at the moment i am just walking around completing minor quests thats why i bought the expansions just so i could play a few more hours as my main hero
