Explorer in Aurora (Possible Spoilers)

After completing the storyline I came across a women on the Aurora Docks who told me of another Continent and to invest 8,000 gold.

I did just that to complete the quest and I believe I received 5 seals, might have been ten.

Had anyone else done this and gotten anything out of it? I am curious cause I have played sometime since and haven't noticed any change like the similar quest in Millsfield with the bridge.

I did the same thing and basically the expedition fails and if you visit driftwood on the far left island you will find the shipwreck along with the captains logs and treasure.
