F.E.A.R. 2 Named

Earlier in the year i posted a thread stating that Monolith wanted fans to name the sequel to F.E.A.R after a legal argument with Vivendi and them losing name rights.(Fans Called To Name F.E.A.R 2.) Well that contest is over and Monolith have now announced the new name for the F.E.A.R sequel. To be honest id have thought they would have came up with something better after a contest with thousands of entries, however from now on the sequel will be known as Project Origin. It will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC but no date, price or rating has been given yet.

Sounds pretty cool to me. The original F.E.A.R. was awesome and I've completed it three times now and I'm still learning more and more from those hidden answering machine calls. ^_^ The achievements are 'ruddy hard to unlock, though.

But yea, can't wait for F.E.A.R. 2 to come out.

Sounds pretty cool to me. The original F.E.A.R. was awesome and I've completed it three times now and I'm still learning more and more from those hidden answering machine calls. ^_^ The achievements are 'ruddy hard to unlock, though.

I was impressed with F.E.A.R the moment it came out for PC and it was one of the reasons i upgraded my PC back in the day along with Half Life 2. It was good to see it come to consoles after all the rumours and now i dont have to shell out for upgrades for the sequel and can get it on 360.

Hard? Hard doesn't even begin to describe it! Isn't there one for using less than 500 rounds of ammo? Insane!

I just hope they advertise a lot and make sure everyone knows of the name change :lol:
