Fable 1 hero?

I remembe reading on a site released by microsoft and lionhead that all of the decendants of the first archon were immortal. This is proven in fable 2 when

you reach max age and get the red eyes scythe had(the site hinted that he was the first archon)

so isn't it possible the hero from fable 1 is out there. afterall

His sister theresa is the one that guides you throught the whole story.

I'd say that's true, but blood lineage could have always been mixed. Theresa could have more purer blood than the hero, since she could pull off some nasty little tricks. Also, in the magical cottage behind the demon door, it says that many heroes, including ours, spent their last days living there.

Of course it might just be a ruse and he is somewhere...in hiding...watching me...STALKER!

Immortal != Invulnerable

Vampires are traditionally immortal, but they can also be killed; I think the same could easily be said for the Fable 1 Hero. So while it's possible that he is still alive, it's equally possible that he's dead (likely killed when the people revolted against the Guild).

So while it's possible that he is still alive, it's equally possible that he's dead (likely killed when the people revolted against the Guild).

the people didnt revolt.. Jack of blades destroyed the guild.It even says in one of the messages: that their hisory lacks consistency, that "Sometimes i think they make it up"The hero in fable 2, could have move to another part of the world... or become jack of blades (end of fable lost chapter if you wear the mask)

I'm not sure if all Archon's children/descendants were immortal. I mean, yeah, I'm pretty sure that Will/Archon/Scythe himself was, and Theresa is; but that doesn't mean they ALL are. And... I don't know, I just prefer that the Fable I hero not be. I mean... it just doesn't seem right, story-wise, for some reason.

Well, that question should be in a new thread in Fable Discussion; not here (seeing as it is just about completely unrelated to the subject of this thread).

But if you want TLC you'll probably have to look for it used. Not sure where you're from; but if you're US EB or Gamestop are/is pretty likely to have a copy. And it's for XBox and PC. I'm not sure if it's compatible with the 360, you'd have to check.

srry offtopic but its playable on the 360, was for me at least.

ontopic: i doubt that the hero could have died when the people revolted, if hes able to kill jack of blades twice, on time when hes in dragon form, a bit of people with guns would be nothing. my guess is he wasnt immortal, because in the first one his mom and theresa are the ones with the mystical powers, like when theresa gives him a gift for all the birthdays shes missed (when you meet her at twinblades camp), she unlocks power within him, and later when you rescue your mom she does the same, but your hero couldnt so im thinking that theresa and her mom were the mystical heros of the bloodline that could live forever and have powers, and your hero was the strong hero that did the actual fighting, but didnt have the magics to be immortal.

or possibly your hero through the storyline chose to wear jacks mask, and theresa had no choice but to destroy him, and now she wants the spire to alter the choice of him, and make him not wear jacks mask, and so now he will be immortal too, but was either way but died by theresa's hand.

just my 2 cents on the fable 1 hero.
then again theres some ****ed up **** about fable 2's storyline, because the story has a book called The Hero of Oakvale, and inside it says that there were many stories on him, but they all compliment the fact that he wielded the sword of aeons, and slew jack of blades in both his human and dragon form. but the thing is i recall to get the sword of aeons, you must kill theresa but she is for a fact alive. it also said any records of offsrpings would have been destroyed with the guild, but is believed that it did continue and im pretty sure its now ur hero, and theresa is ur great great great great grandma

I believe there is a book in a house in Wraithmarsh stating that the reason to revolt against heroes is that they are useless in wake of the age of firearms. What this insinuates to me, at least, is that heroes can die... they can be shot to death. I don't care how powerful one is... a surprise gunshot can do one in.

Slight offtopic: if you give Theresa a thumbs up or down she will say, very sadly, that you remind her of someone she knew long.. long ago.

dosnt Theresa also say that she can see into other worlds that kinda shows that she is a mysical immortal maniac, i wonder what she wants with the spire though its kinda a freaky ending "Now leave this place" or something along those lines she said, they need to bring DLC quick with more quests and areas

umm... i would have to say that not all of the blood line is immortal... i mean the heros mother was of the bloodline was she not and jack easilly killed her... so i think it is possible that the hero could be in the game but i highly dought it...

Like someone else already posted, most of the Heroes alive at the time were killed during the revolt after the invention of firearms because they had become lazy and selfish. Whether the Fable 1 Hero was killed or not is obviously unknown, which is why I said "it's possible that he is still alive, it's equally possible that he's dead".

umm... i would have to say that not all of the blood line is immortal... i mean the heros mother was of the bloodline was she not and jack easilly killed her... so i think it is possible that the hero could be in the game but i highly dought it...

Immortal != Invulnerable

as striken already stated, just cuz some1 is immortal, doesnt mean they cant be killed. if you dont remember, jack slit her throat with the SWORD OF AEONS, which is like the toughest sword known to man, (or practically what was said in the game im pretty sure) anybody would die if their throat was slit with that sword

im not saying the whole bloodline is immortal though, but i think his mom would have been

i just thought of this, but maybe rose is with the fable 1 hero instead of scythe? i explain in my other thread

Well since when u clock Fable 2 Thearasa gets the spire maby she might rebuild it in DLC ( if it comes Out ) and Rewish for the Fable 1 Hero to come back to live & you will get to meet him and hes an uber villan? i don't know. i think he's dead though, and jack of blades was able to kill Your MOther in fable 1 because he weilded the sword of eons...

There's also the fact that, in the description of the Ideal Home behind the demon door in Oakfield, it said as I roughly quote, "Many great heroes, including the one who slayed Jack of Blades, lived the end of their days in this cottage."

I've heard her say that too. I was goofing off when she said it, and after that I just felt all bummed and left quietly.

i know that your mom died due to the swoerd of aeons. and it is no the stronges sword in the game by the way... but any way i was just pritty much restating what Striken7 was saying... and every one of are heros were dif. in the first fable so how could he show up in the second one? i highly dought hes in it...

The spire is allready finished (i think, atleast it looks like it), if you look at to see in Oakfield then you see the outline of the spire and it goes up in to the clouds so i'm guessing it's finished.

Hmm, Reaver IS from Oakvale, so maybe, HE IS THE HERO, he's got quite a mouth on him that's for certain. Makes me glad he was quiet in the first game.

Question: Why were staring at Reaver so deeply Sephi? Is it that he sparks the fire in your lusty soul?
