Fable 2 carrying on from Fable: TLC?

Fable 2 carrying on from Fable: TLC?

I was wondering, does anyone know if Fable 2 will carry on from Fable: TLC?
Because at the last cutscen is goes "What happened to the guild and its heroes is a story for another time."

fable 2 is 500 years after the first 1

I don't think so they it is set 500 years after Fable TLC but maybe in Fable 2 you visit the ruins of the Guild and it tells you what happened to the Guild and its Hero's

it is a fact that you can visit the heroe's guild's ruins already

no my bro in law was at the E3 confennce when peter talked about the game. He said that it was set 500 years after the first. But i have not talked to him since then.

fable 2 is supposed to be in no way connected to fable or fable tlc it is for any player to pick up the game and play with no back story of the guild or anything it is a completely new game.

That is true, but PM also said that people who have played the first ones will see plenty of stuff in the new world and see how it has changed since it still is set in Albion

i guess technicly its not continueing the story, but there will be stuff from the first one. so people who played the first will be able to find out what happened, but its a totally different story, but in the same location.

lets just say its different story, new bad guy, slightly different locations (oakvales burned down- again, bowerstone is PIMPED), but there will be lots of easter eggs relating to the first fable, things like books talking about JoB and the first hero and stuff. also, we will learn what happened to the guild in tales of albion, remember. :)

I've always said that I have no doubt there will be references to the first, no matter how subtle, for use old fans to enjoy. :thumbsup:
