Fable 2 Charter Builds
Hey there, this is my first post here so bare with me.
I decided to make this guild because when I first stared to play Fable II, I tried to find helpful guides and tips about the Hero's build and couldn't find any. So I'll try to make one for the new players or who ever needs a bit of help.
P.S. This is just my suggestions and it fits my style, so feel free to explore and make a build that fits you.
Well first off the 1st abilities you should spend your points on is Raise dead. This skill will be really helpful at the begin of the game because you don't really have to kill anyone before you can use this skill. So as your heading into battle just cast Raise dead and it will let you have a few advantages, 1st in the world of fable it's usually a mob of bad guys VS you, so this lets it even up the numbers a bit, 2nd this skill is great for effectively distracting enemies which let's you get out of the heart of the battle to snipe them with your gun or crossbow, or even give you time to charge and cast a attack spell. Next abilities you should get is Dexterous Styles, see, for my charter i focused on being a long ranged fighter but if that's not the case for you, you still should at least get this to one or two stars. The first level of this skill lets you roll around, ha ha, yes i thought it was kinda crappy at first too but you'll see this is helpful in the game, really helpful. The 2nd level of this skill lets you aim you ranged attack which cause more damage but you will need this skill to shoot the Gargoyles. Next up would be the Will attack, Shock. i would say this is the best out of the Will attacks because you can use this skill as a area attack or you can focus it to one bad guy. Also this skill will stun the bad guys which can be used so you can focus on other targets or can give you time to back up and whip out your bad-ass gun and blast the crap out of them or simply charge up another Shock attack and continuing to do this till they die. But if your the guy that prefers to beat them with your sword, you should put the points into Brutal Styles instead of Shock. but i strongly suggests you get Shock later on if not soon. From here on it up to you, there are quite a bit of useful skills but these are the ones i suggest you start with. Below i listed the Abilities and i will comment on them with tips and suggestions. =]
STRENGTH
Brutal Styles:
This skill is recommended for head on combat fighters. The 1st level gives you block and the 2nd gives you flourish which is needed if you decide to base head on combat your main attack way of the game. but don't rush to get these to early, there are skills that are recommended that you get 1st, but like i said above, it's up to you.
Physique:
This lets you cause more damage with close range weapons, upgrade this later on, it is better to buy a better weapon than to spend points on this at a early point.
Toughness:
This is your health, the higher this is upgraded the higher our health. of coarse you will need to upgrade this sooner or later but i find that in Fable 2, dying is pretty hard up until that parts of where you 1st fight balverines, and even then a level 2 toughness will do just fine. so take your time to upgrade this.
SKILL
Dextrous Styles:
1st two level at least is highly recommended like i said up there, and maxing it is a must if your like me, a long range type. but if not i would still say at least level two.
Accuracy:
This make your range attack cause more damage. Like with Physique, buying a better gun or crossbow will be better than spending points here early on. but if you take the path of shooting crap rather than hitting em' you will need this upgraded later on.
Speed:
Yeah you'll want this for both close and long ranged fighters so get this when you feel you need it, but i took my time till i upgraded this but yes, this is highly recommended to get upgrade soon.
WILL
Shock:
Hell Yeah! like i said above, because you can use this skill as a area attack or you can focus it to one bad guy. Also this skill will stun the bad guys which can be used so you can focus on other targets or can give you time to back up and whip out your bad-ass gun and blast the crap out of them or simply charge up another Shock attack and continuing to do this till they die. So i would say this is a must.
Inferno:
This skill is kinda like Shock but with flames. but its a bit worst cause it does less damage and it doesn't stun the bad guys. but i must say this skill makes you look bad-ass, so if you prefer this, go for it but i would stick with Shock
Time Control:
This is like the skill in Fable I, slow time. this is a useful skill but with all the new spells i really didn't get much of a chance to use this than i thought, but if your a close range fighter you will probably get way more chances to use this skill, so yes, get this skill.
Blades:
Meh, i just think this looks cool but it ain't really worth it. so Yeah.
Vortex:
In the game description they make this skill sounds better than it really is. Kay so the game basically says: "this skill lifts the bad guys up and their is a "possibility" that they will slam in the other bad guys or get knocked to the ground." So this skill does really do much damage and really is that great.
Chaos:
Crappy, this skill isn't a 100% chance that it will work on the bad guys plus this doesn't last that long. so basically the only use of this skill is to distracted em' but Raise dead can do that a 100% times better so don't waste points on this.
Force Push:
In Fable I this skill was really useful, but due to new spells, this one is pretty useless. This spell can clear the bad guys around you for a bit which is pretty good, but there are better ways to do this. not recommended but its up to you.
Raise Dead:
YES! Like i said above. and I'm a lazy bum so i wont type it again =P But yeah get this, not necessary max, but at least level one , level one gives you two dead guys to back you up for 8 seconds i believe. not super long, but will be enough so you can rethink and reset up your attacking ways.
That's it, if you would like to comment or suggest anything including errors and your own opinions, feel free to.
Thanks
