Fable 2 disk= dead

After owning fable 2 for 2 days(oh the irony) , it got scratched inside my 360.
I have no idea if it's toast but if it is, that's 65 buck down the drain. Has anyone had the same problem with their Xbox 360 scratching disks When being moved?:(:(:(:'(:'(

Re: Fable 2 disk= dead

none for me, i got a good 360,, only thing it cant do is sit!

Re: Fable 2 disk= dead

U = PWND... jk=]
no i'm sorry for you that sucks
you shouldn't move your xbox when a disc is inside:hmm:

oh and yes had that once with viva piñata on the first day of owning an Xbox

Re: Fable 2 disk= dead

Yes, never move your xbox at all while it is on. And that is another reason your xbox should be sitting flat, not standing up.

Re: Fable 2 disk= dead

You moved the xbox with a disc in it? Yes I ruined Lost Odessey, that way. Never leave a disc inside, I always remove my disc now, when I quit playing. I am so sorry, that hurts.:(

Re: Fable 2 disk= dead

Told people this a thousand times now....

DO NOT MOVE A CONSOLE WHEN THERES A DISC INSIDE AND ITS TURNED ON.

Re: Fable 2 disk= dead

oh, when i get to my dads ill move it down, +rep to the first onewho posted about that

Re: Fable 2 disk= dead

down and you can move the xbox forward and side to side but slowly not suddenly....my christmas game got messed up...it was Mortal Kombat Vs. DC universe...and make sure you have a recite just in case so you can return it and get a new one...so i got a new copy of MK Vs. DC like 3 days after and on that same day i got Fable 2

Re: Fable 2 disk= dead

Sorry. But that's bull. Anyone who told you the Xbox is better flat is

The only reason your Xbox should be flat is if you have small kids around or something that could knock it, but any other reason would be invalid. The 360 is designed to be upright. The cooling system works better, it looks better (have you not seen that the writing on it and the power on button are vertical?) and the disks atually have less chance of scratching WHEN NOT MOVED JUST PLAYED LIKE NORMAL if they are vertical. Plus, there is that little hitch thing that stops disks falling out if they are vertical, so there's another reason.

And if there is a danger of it being knocked just buy some cheap £1.50 stand guards. You can get them anywhere and they are tough, long lasting, cool (they are black so if you have an elite like me your in luck) and can be stuck down and moved anywhere.

Poor you.

Re: Fable 2 disk= dead

What's interesting is that less than two hours ago I was playing a fable 2 session (I've had it since christmas, the xbox for just as long) and my disc didn't work.
So, I took out the disc and looked it all. All was well. It's lying flat for those of you who would say something about that, it's stationary, it really can't have anything wrong with it I wouldn't assume, being only 5 days old (and used for 3). Regardless, the disc quit playing for a while. I let everything cool down. I - before letting it cool - put it in again immediately and it (Xbox 360 Elite) requested a 360 disc.
I found it strange. This is my first Fable (I wanted the first but ages ago I had a playstation and I'm clearly just getting onto microsoft's side) and I really enjoy it.

Sorry to you 360 fanboys, but, my PS3 has never done something like that.
Regardless; I love Fable 2. I have yet to register online but I'm getting all of that done soon enough.
