Fable 2 Likes & DisLikes(feel free to vent)
First off I want to say that the ending absolutely SUCKED! You wait all of that time for one simple shot to shut that mofo up. Its really a slap in the face when you think about the last Fable, and how Jack of Blades took forever to kill, plus coming back as a dragon. Then whole game leads you up to making three choices...so much for epic story
Not to mention all of the bugs(I had to start over with another character right before the last mission because suddenly my character couldn't pull out his sword in Bloodstone)
Before Fable 2 came out their was so much talk about having a dog and raising a family...however both are limited. The dog's main task is finding potions, books, and bags full of money underground every five steps you take...quite annoying when your being attacked and the only thing your dog seems to care about is a book underground you already have! The AI's are pretty much all the same..with lil uniqueness to them...so if you want a wife don't worry about having problems choosing..you have a choice between pretty...fat/slut/ and poor. The hot rich girls are lesbians so...yeh. And no matter how much money you get...your wife and children still look like poor ppl.
Also their is no armor in this game like Fable 1. So instead you have a very limited supply of clothing, which you can change colors with your dyes...I have no interest in wearing poor rag tags(if you like the poor guy look this works...but if im sitting on 4 mil $..I dont feel right dressing in Bandit shirts and boots)...so I was stuck in my noble man's clothing...oh yeh and their are no hooded outfits or capes
Plus when you look at how short the game is...it leaves you kinda wondering at the end..."is it really over"...I would honestly say if you sat down and played the main story from start to finish with NO side quest...it would probably take you about 6 hrs to beat.
ALL in ALL Fable 2 has many great aspects...and in fact I liked the game. But after playing games like Oblivion and Mass Effect...I was holding it to a new standard. I had so much high expectations for Fable 2, I guess I was setting myself up
