Fable 2 Limited Edition details

Microsoft today announced that Collector's Editions of Gears of War 2 and Fable 2 will ship together with the regular versions. Fable 2 Collector's Edition ships with a bonus disc containing all Lionhead developer diaries, concept art viewer, music from soundtrack and a new behind the scenes making of video, a Hobbe collectible figure, 5 Fate cards and bonus in-game content.

nice! my only problem is that you have to connect to xbox live for the bonus ingame content to work and I don't use xbox live (if this info is incorrect please let me know!)

sadly i think it is correct. and i dont have xbox live either. and worse, i cant find a store anywhere over here that has a limited edition, only the regular one! they give me this bs like "oh i think its only available at certain stores" or, thats gonna be a christmas realease, so if there is gonna be a limited edition, we wont know till later" and "there isnt a limited editon". i even had someone tell me "there isnt a limited edition, and its already out, see". and im like "fable 2 is available at retailers worldwide" "its coming out in october" "there is a limited editon, and it is available at the same time as the regular one, and it will be out in october." and of course " thats fable one, dip****". dont bull**** me man, i know what im talking about. friggin idiots in retail, trying to pull **** on me. only thing is, i work in retail too, so i know all about the bull**** that we tell people just to get them to go away.

it looks like u have to have xbox live to get the limited edition game content which already i have . Also in Australia u can pre order the limited edition version from EB games which i have also done .

game in the uk has the limited edition on their website for preorder, I've ordered it, I'm that much of a fable geek that I have to have it!

Yeah that's wierd seeing as our cash is about 90 cents to every US dollar so why do we have to pay like $40 bucks more for it?

Just to clarify, I pre-ordered the collectors edition at my local EB Games and it was $109.95 so looks likes thats the price

where's you're local EB games though?

I have to go to the one in Castle Towers in Castle Hill and they rip you off so bad that it isn't funny for example:

i traded in 20 xbox and ps2 games with an Xbox console and control and the cords and all the give me is $168.00

I mean that cost me about $2000 for the games and another $300 for the console and all they give me is $168.00? i mean if there prices were all about $5 bucks (which is what each of my individual games were bought for) then i could understand but the next week i looked in the store found my games and they were being sold for 50-60 dollars EACH!.

that's how much of a scam that EB is
