Fable 2 Professions

I've been looking at videos and such and I saw one that showed PM's hero at an anvil hammering away. This made me speculate that there may be professions, something that was reinforced by the fact that apparently quests won't garner gold for you. So I was wondering If things like metal working would be full professions (assuming that their are other professions) or it was a just away for you to fix your armor. It would be nice to think this would be a way to make gold other than spending hours gambling away your savings.

Where you been?

It was stated that there will be multiple jobs such as being a blacksmith to earn gold, if you choose to be the blacksmith, you can up in rank and eventually become the greatest blacksmith of all of albion, and rack in the cash. Everyone would be going to you for there needs Or you can be a woodsman or assasin or own a store! And some other side jobs, I haven't heard of other ones.
Also, every piece of property can be owned, I hope you knew that though.

Yeh i saw that video a while ago and the fact that you can do many jobs. Personally i would be a assassin, cus thats what i do :ninja:

Well I saw that you would earn money from doing jobs but that seemed rather vague. I didn't know what it meant by jobs. Making your money by assassinating people is a bit different than earning gold here and there running messages or fetching ingrediants for the local baker which is what I thought of when I heard "jobs".

There's not to many "jobs" but theres a lot of side things to do.
I'd like to own a shop though.
Or woods men,i suppose...
I dunno. I just want the damn game.:w00t:

I was looking forward to wandering around nicking things to get by but the thief expression/ability has been taken out (boo hoo)

In the livewire demo there was a part where he was able to steal the shop/house's money, but he was being watched so he couldnt steal it at the time...
Are you just able to steal money?
