Fable 2 XBL?

Ok, so I asked AlbionKnight about this and he says it's most likely not gonna happen. I was wondering if anyone thought about having MORE than just couch co-op? I mean I'd like to invite a couple of My bros into My world, and just go on a LOTR adventure. And vice versa, I mean did they not think, "hey the world is gonna be ten times larger, why don't we make it where you can have basically a band of mercenaries come to your aid.", to me that would be an awesome opportunity to gather my crew and go make mad cash. I was planning on it, but when I heard from AK that was prolly not the case, I was like WTF?! I mean I know that's alot of firepower to bring into 1 guys world, but 4 hero's just running rampant, tell me it doesn't sound cool? lol.

Maybe I just wanna be a Mercenary... lol...

Id thought there was a possibility of more than couch co-op but id think that it would be Xbox Live co-op (2 player) and thats it. I think Lionhead want to go for the more personal approach to co-op rather than go for group styled clan co-op. Maybe for a future Fable game no doubt but i dont think it would happen in Fable 2. For a start i think 4 players would be overpowered and would tear through the game in a matter of hours.

I personally don't see why they wouldn't put online co-op, and I have a good feeling that they are waiting for E3 to announce all of the online features of the game. Seeing how gaming is today, especially with the xbox 360, it would be foolish for them not to take advantage of all the potential features they could have with xbox live.

Well I mean, if you have four newbs to Fable 2, four guys stright outta the kiddy stage, they've got better chances of beating the game faster, but they still have to: split exp, split gold, if there is ledgendary weapons, only one guy can get them, and they don't have to complete the main story line, PM said there would be jobs, lots of things to do, and I mean, it can't possibly be any faster than one guy, who gets all the goodies. I know I'm gonna be spending alot of time trying to stay aways from the story line, to make as much money, and get as much stuff, and upgrades as I can. IDK, I mean yeah it ups man power, but that doesnt mean it ups benefits.

I have doubts that they would not take advantage of X-Box Live due to the very high possibility of taking criticism from both critics and fans alike.

I personally don't see why they wouldn't put online co-op, and I have a good feeling that they are waiting for E3 to announce all of the online features of the game. I think PM has a fear of XBL. I think he feels his precious game wouldn't make it on the big stage, but we all know that isn't the case. I mean he said it himself, playing an RPG without other people is boring. Idk, maybe I'm just in love with the thought of a supergroup of heroes. I've said it before and I'll say it again, we all have a war to fight, but that doesn't mean we have to fight it alone.

Well whenever he mentions Xbox Live he talks about it being his favourite feature and as if its the biggest feature so i wouldnt say he was scared of it. Hes always said how much he relishes the challenges Xbox Live has brought to the table and new windows of opportunity its opened for them as developers. Hes never been anything but complementary about it and saying how much he enjoys working with it and the new ideas its given him.

But there is something fundamentally wrong with that man, he says things, and they usually end up blowing up in his face. "The greatest game of all time." "The greatest RPG of all time." "The acorn effect." I mean seriously, I love the guy to death, Fable changed My thoughts about games, but I waited for ProjectEgo for almost as long as it was in production, and I'd like to slap him for that wait, but at the same time shake his hand for the things he tries to do, I'm sure F2 will not be a let down, I'm sure it's gonna blow me away, hell I'm even sure as soon as I fire it up in the 360 I'll forget all about four heroes, but I do know he's said somethings that cannot possibly be made to happen.

Peter is a gaming visionary, he has great ideas and an amazing imagination and tends to voice his thoughts and excitement a little prematurely thats all. He has learnt over his mistakes in the past however and has only spoken this time about things that are definitely in the game. Hes also already revealed some of the things that have been cut, but this time its nothing major. I followed 'Project Ego' from the moment the rumours about its creation came out and saw every interview and rumour about it. The media didnt help things when they hung on his every word and took everything that came out of his mouth as confirmation of content. He likes spreading the excitement and enthusiasm of gaming to people and hes just a genuine gamer at heart who has great passion for his work.

I totally understand what your saying Andy, believe me I do.

But being raised in a society where, if you f*** up, you're labeled as a f*** up. If you commit a felony, you're viewed as one of the lowest forms of life over here. Hell I went to jail for a felony, and everyone there thought I was a pyschopathic nutjob. I mean it's human nature to disbelieve someone who gives you reason to. I know without a shadow of a doubt that I will be 100 thousand percent happy with fable2. I just can't help worrying with december right down the road ya know?

I just don't want to have another Hype vs. Payout experience.

Simple way to put it to sum up every situation you just said is 'Everyone makes mistakes'. Hes well aware that people were disappointed with Fable after all the hype and such, and was very upset and took a lot of the negative comments to heart. As a gamer himself he wants people to have fun with his product. Above all else hes not a liar, just an overly expressive person who lets his visions and ideas slip out prematurely.

Every time they mention it around Peter he gets a big smile like a kid with a new toy. Always followed by him saying 'Ive been told not to talk about that' and him saying hes very excited about it and its a feature they havent mentioned yet and his favourite feature. So yeah its been dodged around for some time but never specified.

If there is ANY XBL ability in the game, it will make me a million times more humble, I just don't wanna get blackballed out of XBL. Because let's be honest, we all know we wanna just run Albion like a bunch of mob bosses. lol.

despite my young age I've done some things that could have gotten me in jail too, I'm just a lucky mofo that I havn't gotten caught yet :S

But I've changed and I'm not gonna climb up to 60 feet tall christmas trees and slide down the lights with rubber gloves on anymore. It was just one of the very stupid things I did, the tree somehow caught fire and became a even bigger fire than it was a tree : /

Watched TV a week later and I was on the police's wanted list, 4 months later they where still looking for the guys that did it. (they didn't know that it was me and a friend)
