Fable 3: Import save data

How do you think our f2 choices will affect fable 3 do you think?

the most obvious choices were:
the needs of the many
the needs of the few
the needs of one

which could drastically change the game, i am hoping, otherwise that choice means nothing in comparison.

i chose the needs of the few, so i hope the hero's family ties into the game abit, maybe with scythe aswell.

the needs of one could probably make your character start off with a large sum of gold, or some equipment inherited from there parent

i am not quite sure about the needs of many...

but there was alot of other choices aswell during the game to discuss.

Re: Fable 3: Import save data

I'd also think that the imported save will revolve around what you did with Old Town and how you left Westcliff.

Your idea about the inheritance from the parents is a good concept. I can actually see that working.

Re: Fable 3: Import save data

The inheritance part I agree with as well. I think that you'd start off with about a decent sum of gold and other things from your parents ie clothes, weapons, etc.
I believe even the choices you made in say.. Old Town would be in place as well.

I also remember in Dragon Age Awakening (different game I know.) how when you imported your character from the original Dragon Age people would remember you. I'm hoping they add this as well.
Maybe they'd say like,"Oh, your the Hero's son/daughter?"

Re: Fable 3: Import save data

I sure hope I can inherit my fathers 999,999,999 gold. But what I'm not understanding is how they'd scan the character I wanted out of my various fable 2 saves.

And maybe your kid's name from Fable 2 will be your name in f3. Because I don't want it to be a bird again. Maybe this time it'll be hummingbird or something. But I want to either be able to name him, or for him to have an actual name.

Re: Fable 3: Import save data

^ You can probably choose which character to 'merge' with, like what they did with the pub games.

Re: Fable 3: Import save data

in fable 2, there was already a few inherited items you could get, from the outside experience on the website.

also, you probably will get to choose which character save file from f2 you want to use...

Re: Fable 3: Import save data

A plausible (and purely speculative) option for "The Need of Many" could be linked to starting off with more "followers." The reason this is a sound suggestion goes along with the idea that your Mother (or Father) reunited many parents to their children, - who wouldn't remember the Family Name of One's Domestic Savior?

As for the previous suggestions of the other End-Game Choices, I have little to dispute or appraise such notions.

Re: Fable 3: Import save data

that seems cool, but considering the amount of people who were revived, we would probably become king very early on.

also, considering logan is your brother, i think that rules it out...

i was thinking of the towns being more populated, and maybe have more culture, such as when the children pretend to be hero's.

Re: Fable 3: Import save data

I was thinking about this the other day, maybe the statues you erected in FII will remain.

Re: Fable 3: Import save data

lol, if so, then i think i would want to change them all first...
especially since in f2 it was mostly silly poses, and you change your clothes every now and then, so the statues would be inconsistent.

Re: Fable 3: Import save data

What about PC players?
I mean... there is no F2 for PC so I don't know how will you be able to experience full game when you can't even start it as it was intended to start (by letting the game mod F3 world based on F2 saves)...

Re: Fable 3: Import save data

^They're not supposed to be missing anything so I highly doubt the statue things will work, unless they were to have default statues.

Yes, there was so little people in F1 & F2 (not that much of a problem because they were all very, very annoying). But, in F3, maybe they'll have as many towns people like Assassin's Creed type crowds. Hopefully a little less, but more than earlier.
