So in Fable 1, you could be good or evil.
in Fable 2, you could also be pure or corrupt.
Does anyone think there may be something else for fable 3?
What do you think it will be if you do.
and even if you dont think there will be anything what do you wish they would add?

Personaly i wish they would have all the 7 deadly sins as a morality bar with each having a character morph to reflect it
Pride- caused by declining help from in game characters (causes you to look more like a loner, dont ask me how)
Envy- (only one i cant think of an in game cause for)
Gluttony- caused by eating too much food (makes you fatter)
Lust- caused by having your character make love too much (can make your character look more attractive)
Anger- caused by lashing out at innocents or by showing no mercy when asked for it (causes your character to look angry all the time, and possibly have his veins bulge a little)
Greed- (replacement for pure and corruption) (looking unhealthy like Fable 2)
Sloth- spending too much time in your castle (i've heard you can spend a very long time in the castle in F3 and it can make your character have bags under his or her eyes, like they are tired)

i just thought this was a cool idea and i wanted to get other peoples opinion on it too

Honestly I'd enjoy seeing it, they would all be pretty hard to implement (especially envy, I can't even think of one)... but we'll find out the final morality system soon enough

actually some of these might already be in place, like for example:
gluttony, you do get fat if you eat to much. see what im saying.

and fable 3 has extreme morphs which i am interested in. so im good with that
and as for stayin in your castle as king/queen, you dont have to come out ever if you dont want to, so ya

Personally i think that the sin thing is way too much to put into a game. They would have to make a lot of different customizations for just one character. Sure every character would be unique, but think of how much time and effort would have to go into that. I think they are just going to stick to good/evil and pure/corrupt.

agreed, but there is mnore to it now, as in the judgement system, extreme morphing, get wut im sayin?

agreed, just note these are ideas and not what i think will actually be in the game, after all, if they can cause weapons to morph into about 22 thousand different combinations in fable 3 who's to say that in fable 4 they wont have a few more morality sliders?

I didnt mean that there wasnt more that affects it, I was simply stating that it would be hard to put that many customizations for just one character. If you were referring to my last statement: "I think they are just going to stick to good/evil and pure/corrupt" , i meant that that would be all there was as far as alignment sliders.

i dunno if they kept the sliders

to the oroginall post it probably work but it was already done by another game .... kinda
overlord took the bases of the seven dealdy sins envy, wrath, lust, etc for every boss

Interesting morality measures. But lets not forget that each new feature introduces lots of bugs into the game and clutters it up. I prefer the simple good, evil, pure, corrupt thing.

But that said, maybe future technology could provide it, although the series will end in 2014/2015

They replaced the sliders with pictures of a face
The wider the face smiles, the more you have on that particular scale.

I know it's true. Okay, so it hasn't been confirmed, and no ones ever mentioned it, and it's not true, but I misconstrued it from an a poorly written article, and thusly I believe it to be fact, more fact than gravity, and ill die to defend that.

I hope someone sees the point I'm making.

ONTOPIC:
Good/evil pure/corrupt is more than enough.

Adding more complex systems would be cool, but I feel that putting too much focus on the morality sliders of a character would draw attention, time and resources away from the rest of the game.

The 7 deadly sins thing is an interesting concept. And the envy morph is easy: the hero turns green. Har har.

But, I hate the sliders. I don't want the game telling me whether my actions were good or evil, because that's completely subjective. I want to be able to just make the decision, and suffer it's ramifications. None of this morphing business.

it dosent need to be extremely complicated, in fact, the way i picture it, it would be very easy to implement. you just need to have each morality trait to effect a specific part of the hero's appearance (unlike how you need to be evil AND corrupt to have horns or good AND pure to have a halo) but, i just think it would be really cool too have because it would just add more to do in your game

I agree with both of yaw

I don't want to have floating icons telling me if I did good or bad. Just have the guy slowly morph and if you pay attention you'll know if you're good or evil. Really, wouldn't be hard at all.
