The problem with this is that gold is too easy to come by I believe, after you finish the game there is very little to spend gold on and is very easily accumulated, why sell your legendary sword for gold if you then have nothing to spend that gold on? I think its a good idea, but the in-game economy would also have to be improved to make earning gold worth-while.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe Fable III was gonna have one
