Fable Bluddy 2!

Can i say Bluddy?

Umm i was wondering...

how many kids can you have in the game? can you name them? do you get to chose what sex? also if YOU die can your son or daughter take over?

Thanks! = ]

“I don’t know what form Jack’s going to take, but I don’t think it’s going to be small and furry, do you?”

Re: Fable Bluddy 2!

1. Yes, apparently you can say bluddy, as the swear filter did not block it :P
2. I believe you can have as many kids as you like, but I don't think that's officially been announced yet.
3. Hopefully you'll be able to name them, we'll see.
4. To keep the ggame realistic, you probably wont be able to choose sex.
5. The hero can't die, he can merely be knocked out. To find out more search for "Death/Combat interview" without the quotes

you CAN choose what sex (I'd give where I found that info from but I really don't remember.. I think it was the fable 2 info forum on this site)

Re: Fable Bluddy 2!

i'd guess you choose at the begining, but im guessing the fable dudes decided they didn't want to be sexist any more and wanted more custimizability. ;)

Re: Fable Bluddy 2!

Hhahah, i wonder if it would be evil to have a whole bunch of children... like 20!^^
Then i would let them follow me to a house and then just tell them to wait in there... 20 kids in a house! heeiii...

And fablefreak, i think Jester meant that not being able to choose the sex of your avatar in the game isn't sexist. Then we should be able to choose the sex of characters in books and stuff and that would ruin the whole experience. I think they let you play as a woman mainly because they wanted to give a more realistic experience. And for female players its maybe easier to identify themselves as a woman?

Re: Fable Bluddy 2!

Hehe, no offense Fablefreak!

Btw, is fablefreak323 the same person as Fablefreak??
(sorry for off-topic... anwyays i gotta ask..)

Re: Fable Bluddy 2!

naw, and i didn't copy the name either, it just came to me when i was making up the name

Re: Fable Bluddy 2!

Yea you can pick if YOU want to be a female or male..but i was talking about your kids..i think it would randomly generate..

Re: Fable Bluddy 2!

haha, i could imgaen having tonnnnnnes of kids then teaching them and making an army...and taking over some towns..hehe that would be SOOOO FUN!

Just a question...you know in Fable both TLC and Normal..how you can't like run across fields and stuff like each map is quite narrow and small..

Do you think there going to make it bigger...like say OBLIVION bigger..

Re: Fable Bluddy 2!

It's entirely free-roaming according to all reports, including a few times out of the mouth of Peter Molyneux himself (though given his history of hype, I'm not sure this is any great assurance) which means, using the old Morrowind maxim, 'If you can see it, you can go to it' in terms of gameplay. That's if it really does materialize this way, but all the screenshots appear to confirm it will be a very expansive land.

I think the idea of eventually dying, perhaps of old age, in order to then have the Hero mantle picked up by the son (or daughter) you helped to raise is a brilliant idea, though it would have to be a truly innovative game to assure it wouldn't become boring, especially with a linear story line.
