Fable: Darkened Souls

Me and some people over at FABLETLCMOD: Making our own destiny... are working on a new project entitled Fable: Darkened Souls. It basically makes the game darker and eviller(is that a word?) Anyway, thought I'd go ahead and build some hype about it here, and release an extremely small portion of it, just to give you guys a taste. One of the many things that we're doing is recoloring the legendary weps. Posted below is the link to the fmp of the Ronok the Axe and Dollmaster's Mace recolor.

NOTE: These recolors are still rough drafts, and are simply bases. It's a good start, but we have yet to add the detail and finishing touches to them. Enjoy!

:lol: Last time I tried to re texture the moon, my game crashed.

I'm only good with TNG's. I made a pathway thing..but it's not finished yet. :(

But you're a photoshopper. If you can photoshop, you can retexture. Heck, even I can retexture, and I'm not half as good as you in photoshop.

How long ago did you do that? I think one of the earlier versions of FE had trouble extracting textures...

Oh my, I don't remember, it was some time ago, before I really started to understand TNG's. So I may try again, when I get in a fable mood, which may be pretty soon with all this modding going on. :D

Perhaps you used the wrong import format? Or the alpha was on the wrong setting?

Well, If I'm not mistaken, the moon is alpha(or transparency) enabled, which means that you need to import it in the DXT3 format (as opposed to the default which is DXT1) and set the Alpha to 1.

So this project.. are you gonna give NPCs more 'evil' Words to say? and i have an idea if you havent thought of it.. if you know the Infernal Wrath spell.. the demons that come out spinning you should put those into the world :D

also can you make oakvale on Fire again with modding?

The people working on it have a task list, but we're trying not to let a lot of what we're doing to get out. And we kinda have our hands full as it is. Sorry. And Sephy, No, that's just for transparent textures. The only thing that you have to do with regular textures is set the Alpha to 0
