Fable II map

is it just me? or have other people found that when first playing the game, the map is too large and confusing?

is there any way that i can get my bearings of the map without having to memorize the whole place?

The more you play, the more it gets drilled into your memory. If you take the game at least semi-slow, then you should memorize it without even realizing it. You won't be so lucky if you zoom through the game uber quick though.

Yeah, see i figure my problem is that i dont take the direct routes through towns, i always take every possible road to see where it leads and it's all just too much information to take in.
Especially when i went into the game thinking the map would be genreally the same sort of layout as fable I, not realising that it was mammoth in size

its not that big, try playing oblivion dewd lawl. But yes i was expecting it to be the same maps as fable 1 only larger and more places but really most places dont even match up with were they were in fable1

^ i think it was gewd size because they had quests for everywere. To me it fealt like Tamreial or w/e was a real country
