I guess I would need to know what they mean by more mature. From the videos I have watched it looks great. Not to kiddish I guess would be the word.

At least I haven't seen what 'mature' looks like or I'll be wanting that more....
Halo3 disappointed me by toning down the aggressiveness of the Brutes....

Based on what what we've seen, I think they've succeeded. The world definitely looks less 'cartoony' while still keeping the same Fable look. Only three weeks left until we could finally play it. :O

To be honnest a serious look would of been much more prefered by me but Fable had a great style so I think it isnt too much of an disapointment.

By mature, I think they mean "real" fx. they could have made the hands and feet smaller to look more mature and real..
But by doing that imo Fable II would lose it's nostalgic moments, so Im glad the way it turned out

Mature? Odd, seeing as the game is mostly intended for mature audiences (rating, obviously), but I like the game's style- it's a good mix of accurate portrayal and a bit of exaggeration to make things more interesting. Games that are flatly just a mirror of everything you already see get boring after awhile. Games with style don't.

They actually did do that, they talk about it in the art interview.

I don't think it looks submature the way it is so I think it's fine.

I love the cover. It seems to show both hero's. Can't wait to get it.:wub:

i dont think its that cartooney, i suppose it not like bolivion where everythings really realistic, but then again look at fable 1, the swrods were almost as big as you were, but fable 2 has the swords set accordingly. anyway, it looks insane.

Yeah and the feet and hands are smaller also. I agree it's not as cartoony as the TLC copy.

I wish it had graphics on par with the Oblivion elder scrolls graphics. I need to put my 1337 computer to good use ;-;

As for maturity, I think it's fine. I don't see any weird puffy little animals scurrying about, do you?

Peter has a copy of it in a huge picture frame right over his desk, on one side and his awards on the other side. I think he likes it to.
The only puffy little animals, are the cute little bunny rabbits, one can hunt. But that I don't see.:)

personaly, iv always prefered fables look. it wouldnt be as fun with a mature look. im happy with the way it is now. albion looks beautiful.

I agree, it's really beautiful. It's perfect to me. The npc's have a lot of character, and there are so many more videos, showing everything everywhere, I go. I'm very excited. ^_^

I really hope any text in the game is larger than other xbox360 games I played. So far I find playing classic xbox games better than xbox 360 because the resolution in xbox 360 games is too high and the text in games too small to read, they seem to assume everyone is playing on a 40" widescreen tv.
